FIRST Updates
2010 Control System
This blog will provide the reader with information about this year's control system. Traditionally drive-stations have been a little box which you would programme and then wirelessly control your robot with; but this year we have been given a miniature classmate laptop. Many problems have been found and using it is new to all of us. If you need any information on it, Bill's blog is probably a good place to start. Bill's blog is constantly updated and also has previous blogs archived on it. If you'd like information about competitions or whats going on with FIRST in general, read some of his other posts and you'll probably find something useful.
Kickoff Information
This year attendees of the kick-off need to bring a signed consent form in order to enter. The form, information on it and other kick-off related information such as locations or how to watch it if you cannot attend are also readily available on this page.
Scholarships
FRC Team members interested in scholarships obtainable through FIRST can visit here to find out what is required, how to register and which colleges and universities are involved.
Consent System
Here team members and their parents/guardians can register themselves to connect with other teams and to easily send consent forms and award entries as well as receive updates, information and notifications about awards and their team.
