Sponsorship and Support

Students and Sponsors are asked to take a look at our sponsorship package[pdf], and are invited to distribute it to any potential sponsors interested in getting involved in this rewarding program, and backing our strong team.

The FIRST robotics competition provides students with an invaluable experience through which they are able apply their knowledge and innovation in both designing and building a robot. In order to participate in this competition we must pay the registration fee of $5,000. The cost of building the robot itself is $5,000. These costs also include promotion, truck rentals, gasoline, metal and steel parts, and updating our equipment.

We would like to extend an invitation to your organization to join us in our endeavors for the 2010 season. Both parties will ultimately benefit from your help to provide our dedicated team of ambitious students with the finances and tools that will enable them to display their skills and gain the experience of a lifetime.

Please make all cheques payable to the Toronto District School Board.

For any donation of $500 or more, you or your company will receive a tax credit from the Toronto District School Board.
